Two beers, two tall whisky and sodas, mozz sticks, small extra cheese pizza, and a burger and fries for about 50 bucks.
We live about 25 minutes away and the drive is gorgeous, real scenic area if you're into that. There's a breakfast place across the street called Two Wrasselin Cats, can't wait to check that out too.
This is a decent place to eat at in East Haddam, it's a place where all the locals come to eat. The Shrimp Scampi and the Spinach Dip was out of this world. The Shrimp were huge! It is a tad over priced but it's worth eating at in the future.
Decent locals bar with great service and good prices. Could use a few more beers on tap however.

I'm always fairly hesitant to order pizza anywhere that isn't labeled as a 'pizza go to'. I went for it, with extra cheese because cheese, and had zero regrets. About the pizza. I diiiid order mozzarella sticks and they were so good we wolfed down the entire plate relatively quickly. So by pizza time I was kind of full, just two of us going to town on the mozz'ies. So maybe I regret being too full to eat the entire small extra cheese pizza. No, the mozz was great too, zero regrets. I also gobbled a few of my SO's fries and they were amazing. Perfect crunch on the outside but soft on the in, and seasoned really well. SO got the classic burger and ate it too fast to share any thoughts on it. Mostly because he was hungry.
Ignored for 24 minutes. Ordered Cobb salad, but told no chicken salad, so order something else. Waitress then tells us there is chicken. Maybe they don't know how to make chicken salad. Or why not just chop chicken for the salad. No soap in restroom. Empty place. Just a few barflies. We left. Terrible service.
